PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device for a battery electrode that is suitable for mass production of battery electrodes having excellent stickability between a metallic foil collector and an electrode active material and that is smaller than a conventional battery electrode, and a high performance battery electrode manufactured by the apparatus. SOLUTION: A battery electrode manufacturing apparatus is provided by forming an electrode active material layer to run a strip metallic foil collector 1 while its back surface is in contact with an arched heat source surface so as to dry an electrode liquid 2 containing an electrode active material after applying it on a strip metallic foil collector, and a high performance battery electrode having excellent stickability between a metallic foil collector and an electrode active material manufactured by the apparatus is provided.
