PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery rental system which can lend a battery that is charged in a desired state for a motor-driven vehicle in an extremely simple way and with no intervention of any worker. SOLUTION: A normal user is confirmed when he puts his certificate close to a user identifier device 36. The user selects his desired battery based on the guidance of a display device 38 having a touch panel and takes an unlocked battery out of a battery supply device 42. Then the user loads the battery into a motor-driven bicycle of a bicycle parking device 44 and unlocks the bicycle to use it.
