<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and sure personal identification method in a computer communication network. SOLUTION: In a 1st process (a) of the method, a center sends a notice character string consisting of characters included in a previously determined character set to a terminal computer. In a 2nd process (b), a user converts the notice character string by a previously determined conversion rule to obtain an input character string. In a 3rd process (c), the user sends the obtained input character string from the terminal computer to the center. In a 4th process (d), the center identifies the user based on the notice character string, the previously determined conversion rule and the sent input character string. These processes (a) to (d) can be stored in a medium.</p> |
