PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a device stably keep ozoneless direct electrification with a low applied voltage over a long time and tO realize especially image formation with high-definition regardless of soiling a contact electrifying member by a toner by using such a simple member as an electrifying roller, and a fur brush, etc. as a contact electrifying member, in an image forming device electrifying an image carrier by contact electrification, forming an electrostatic latent image on an electrifying surface and performing the image formation. SOLUTION: An electrifying means electrifying an image carrier 1 is a flexible electrifying member 2 forming a nip part (n) and the image carrier 1 in the case that a voltage is applied, the surface of the electrifying member moves with respect to the surface of the image carrier while having a speed difference, conductive electrification accelerating particles 3 are interposed on at least the nip part between the member 2 and the image carrier 1 and the size of the particles 3 is equal to or less than that of a pixel constituting an electrostatic latent image. |
