PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared communication system which eliminates the effects of infrared noise (PDP noise) that is generated from a PDP internal part and correctly operates. SOLUTION: An infrared receiving part 20 is provided with a PDP noise deciding part 5 that decides PDP noise of a demodulated data signal and a noise eliminating part 6 which eliminates the PDP noise and outputs the data signal according to the decision result, and the PDP noise deciding part consists of a clock generating part 9, a demodulation signal sampling part 7 and an operating part 8 which operates the sample signal and decides PDP noise. If the repeating cycle of the clock exceeds 1/N (on condition that N is a positive integer and the same is below) of a maximum pulse width Tn of the PDP noise and is a cycle that is less than 2/N, and on the other hand, a sample signal is the same level in an N clock period, the part 8 regards this as data. Therefore, it is possible to offer an infrared communication device that eliminates the effects of PDP noise and correctly operates. |
