PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gelatin recovery device which is capable of performing a gelatin recovery operation without the necessity to use a large amount of water and dispenses with a drain treatment. SOLUTION: This gelatin recovery device 1 conveys a bar-like gelatin 5 held between a high speed belt 7 and a low speed belt 8, then splits the bar-like gelatin 5 into individual gelatin films 5a by frictional force and transfers a release agent 5b to be applied to the surface, to the belt face. The gelatin film 5a from which the release agent 5b is removed is recovered from the end part of the belt, and the release agent 5b sticking to the belt face is scraped off by blades 12, 13, which slide into contact with the belt face. The belt face passing through the blades 12, 13 again find their way into a bar-like gelatin holding part 11 to coat the release agent anew. |
