PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install an automatic door even at a thin place. SOLUTION: This automatic door is equipped with a longer engine case 4 with an approximately U-shaped vertical section having a lower side horizontal piece 4b and an upper side horizontal piece 4c up and down of a side piece 4a, a door 1 suspended to the lower side horizontal piece 4b through a hanger 2 and capable of moving in the longer direction of the engine case 4, a motor block 5 mounted to one end side of the engine case 4, a following pulley block 6 mounted to the other end side of the engine case 4, an electric block 7 for driving and controlling the motor block 5 mounted to the engine case 4 and a driving belt 8 put between the motor block 5 and following pulley block 6 to mount the hanger and moving the door 1 with operation of the motor block 5. In that case, the upper side horizontal piece 4c is so formed that it covers the electric block 7, the projected margin of the lower side horizontal piece 4b is smaller than that of the upper side horizontal piece 4c and, at the same time, the driving belt 8 is so set that it moves up and down of the electric block 7. |
