PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air liquefying and separating device by which higher vibration resistance can be obtained. SOLUTION: In an air liquefying and separating device in which one or more selfstanding tower tanks and one or more tower tanks installed with the outer tank as a frame are installed within an outer tank to accommodate an low-temperature apparatus and which is charged with heat insulating material in particle form having the charge density at normal pressure, the primary natural frequency of self standing tower tanks is set to not more than seven- tenths or not less than one time as large as the primary natural frequency of the outer tank. Hereby, the response of the self standing rectifying tower can be reduced.
