PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power compensating system which can compensate not only fundamental-wave components but also higher harmonics and opposite- phase components without causing any high harmonic resonance phenomenon. SOLUTION: A filter selecting circuit 13 has a function of selecting an appropriate filter from a filter pattern storing memory 14 based on system information on a capacitor throwing-in state, load thrown-in state, etc., inputted from the outside. In the memory 14, the information on the parallel resonance frequency fr calculated in an on-line state for predicted various system conditions and filters from which gains are lowered in the peripheral band of the frequency fr are stored. When a specific frequency is selected, filter information is loaded into a filter 15 for removing resonance frequency band and the filter 15 functions as a band-pass filter for input signals (ia). |
