摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposing apparatus which can be reduced in breadth, by providing two arrays of light-emitting elements thereby preventing an expo sure time of light from the light-emitting elements from being shortened, and arranging separately a light-emitting element chip mount substrate where the two arrays of light-emitting elements are to be mounted and a driver chip mount substrate. SOLUTION: When a plurality of light-emitting element chips 101-401 each consisting of a plurality of light-emitting elements arranged in an array are to be set in a longitudinal direction of a photosensitive drum side by side, the light-emitting element chips 101-401 are mounted to a light-emitting element chip mount substrate 4 and driver chips 109, 209 driving the plurality of light- emitting element chips are mounted to a driver chip mount substrate 5 different from the light-emitting element chip mount substrate 4. At this time, the light- emitting element chips at each side of the longitudinal direction are connected to the common lightemitting element chip mount substrate 4 via one or more bonding wires. Moreover, the light-emitting element chip mount substrate 4 and the driver chip mount substrate 5 are electrically connected by flexible substrates 107, 207.</p>
