PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated optical device which has a long-life semiconductor laser, is simple in constitution and is low in a unit cost and an optical disk device of a low cost having high reliability. SOLUTION: This device has a semiconductor laser 11 as a light source, photodetectors 12 as photodetecting elements, a plate 41 formed with a recessed part 43 to be provided with this semiconductor laser 11 and a projecting part 45 to be provided with the photodetectors 12 respectively on the parallel planes of different levels via a difference in level and a reflection mirror formed on a slope 47 of the difference in level existing in the light emission direction of the semiconductor laser 11. In such a case, the semiconductor laser 11, the reflection mirror 47 and the photodetectors 12 are so disposed as to be aligned to the exit direction of the semiconductor laser 11. In addition, the slopes 47, 48 between the recessed part 43 and the projecting part 45 are disposed at two points in the direction orthogonal with the exit direction with the inclination at the prescribed angle with the exit direction. |
