PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a dot matrix character or a sign of an Asian calligraphic style, and output a character of variously different resolution apparatuses by generating a brush painting basic character while defining a brush painting in a display space of the whole resolution. SOLUTION: A characteristic point of a brush shape is defined, and next, a curve numeric value to decide a curve shape between continuous characteristic points is defined. Respective characteristic points are obtained by calculating a space related numerical expression of its related key point and a width. When a resolution space is smaller than a certain preset size, the displayed key point is automatically moved, and happens to be moved to the center or an end part of a concerned picture element from a picture element of a former position. At the same time, the whole characteristic points related to these key points also move according to this. A part of a brush shape is changed by a calculation of such a step, and a character does not repeatedly change to something in a low resolution space, and a clear and high quality low resolution dot matrix character can be generated, and a sign can also be made. |
