PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage or drip of raw ink at a low cost. SOLUTION: The writing instrument comprises a cylindrical barrel 11, a nib A having a tip 16 provided to close an opening of the barrel 11 at a tip side, an ink holder B provided in the barrel 1 adjacent to the nib A, an ink flowout controller C provided in the barrel 11 adjacent to the holder B, an ink chamber 12 defined in the cylinder 11 between the controller C and a closed part of the other end of the barrel 11, and a means for conveying an ink 13 in the chamber 12 to the tip 16. In this case, the holder B has a fiber bundle 20 for sucking and holding the ink. The bundle 20 is set to a high density gradient at the controller C side and a low density gradient at the nib A side. |
