PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation panel device which is capable of cleaning the key top part of an operation panel easily immediately before use and without taking much time. SOLUTION: A key input invalid mode which makes all key inputs invalid can be set by a mode switching means according to the operating mode of a dedicated mode switching key 5 or an existent specific key. Even if a cluster of keys of an operation panel 1 are cleaned without power being turned off, therefore, no erroneous operation is performed. If a mode switching means according to the operating mode of a mode switching key 5 or a specific key is operated again after completion of cleaning, the key input invalid mode is released, therefore, it is possible to use the operation panel 1 in an ordinary way. |
