PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device provided with a developing device capable of forming a high-quality image without a fog and a ghost by using a one-component developer. SOLUTION: When an actual contact area per unit-area when a supplying roller 7 comes into contact with a developing sleeve 5 is defined as a contact area ratio (a) and a load on each five-centimeter in the longitudinal direction of the supplying roller 7 in its contact state with the developer sleeve 5 is defined as hardness (h), setting within the ranges of 40 (g)<=a×h<=120 (g), 60 (g) <=600 (g) and 0.2<=a<=0.8 is attained. Thus, a capacity to scrape toner remaining on the supplying roller 7 is secured and a deterioration in the toner is suppressed, so that the level of the fog is kept good and the occurrence of a ghost phenomenon can be prevented. |
