<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a hinge-type lock key adaptable under all conditions at low manufacturing cost by installing two arms extending from a shank, securing a head portion thereon in hinged relation, and effecting snap-fastening connection therefor. SOLUTION: Two laterally faced arms 13, 13 are extendingly set from a shank 12, and a head portion 11 is secured on the upside of the arm 13 in hinged relation. In this case, a metal core 14 is fixed by a hinge to allow the core 14 to be embedded suitably fittingly within an elastic casing 17. Then, a snap- fastening connection is affected between the head portion 11 and the arm 13. As such, the head portion 11 is permitted to be movable between the working position and the folded position to thereby reach the folded position by retaining stably the working position and overcoming a predetermined force. In this construction, a hinge-type key is obtained, which is usable under all conditions at low manufacturing cost.</p> |
