OPTICAL INFORMATION READER, INFORMATION PROCESSOR, DOCUMENT, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical information reader capable of acquiring the code data of a slip or the like and the image data of a print without increasing cost and suitable as a portable terminal, an information processor and a document suitable for reading out the contents of the optical information reader. SOLUTION: In a code/image reading mode, a two-dimensional(2D) image is read out by a handy scanner (S600), a 2D code is decoded from the 2D image (S700), the contents of the 2D code and the 2D image itself are transmitted to a host computer (S800) and recorded. Therefore image data can be derived as necessity and a received print can be checked. Since the reading of the 2D code and that of the image data can be executed by one CCD, the handy scanner suitable as a portable terminal can be attained without increasing cost.
