PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing mechanism for a drawer of a furniture element which is easily assembled. SOLUTION: One arm 14 of angle pieces 12 and 13 into which magnets 25 are integrated is fixed to the floor 5 of a furniture element 2. The other arm 15 of the angle pieces 12 and 13 is protruded from the floor 5 right downward. This protruded part 17 is provided with a bearing 18 to support the pivot axis 19 of a foot-operated lever 21 rotatably. A ferromagnetic plate 24 which is attracted to the magnets 25 is installed to a drawer 1. By rotating the lever 21 with a foot and separating the plate 24 from the magnets 25, the drawer 1 automatically comes out from the furniture element 2 by the force of a spring 27. |
