PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image recorder and an image recording method enabling an operator to execute desired recording by efficiently using a recording medium at the time of recording plural originals where character and photograph pages coexist. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a reader part 1 having an operation part 115 where the setting of a recording image quality selection mode is made possible and reading image data from an original, a printer part 2 recording an image corresponding to the image data from the reader part 1 and an image input/output controlling part 3 on recording paper and the image input/output controlling part 3 discriminating whether the original is a character page or a photograph page and recording a page discriminated as the photograph page with character recording image quality and performing re-recording for every page based on the resetting of the recording image quality with the operation part 115 regarding the recording page. |
