PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the troubles caused by the wrong use of a transaction medium by adding a fingerprint information column including the fingerprint information on the owner of a card-shaped main body to this body and accordingly executing the transaction processing after confirming surely the genuine owner of a card-shaped transaction medium. SOLUTION: A magnetic storage part is prepared on one of both sides of the main body of a card 10 to record the financial institution name, the deposit account type, etc., of the card owner together with a fingerprint information column including the fingerprint information on the genuine owner of the card 10. When a transaction is started, a fingerprint information reading part 15 reads the fingerprint information of the card 10. Meanwhile, the fingerprint information on the actual user of the card 10 which is pressed to a fingerprint pressing part 8a is acquired and sent to a control means 11. A genuineness decision part 16 collates the fingerprint information read out of the card 10 with the fingerprint information on the actual card user acquired via the part 8a to decide the genuineness of the owner and user of the card 10. Based on this decision result of genuineness, the propriety is decided for the transaction processing. |
