PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display the menus on a large sized customer display and to input the ordering of commodities by using the customer display which can display in sequence the ordering contents of a customer inputted by an operator in plural lines and also can display the total amount of the ordering contents. SOLUTION: When a customer orders the commodities, an operator reads the bar code of each commodity via a hand scanner 5 and displays the names and unit prices of the commodities on a large sized customer display 1 and a business display 2 which are provided on the back of an accounting register part 3 set opposite to the operator. When the operator inputs the number of ordered commodities, the number of commodities and their corresponding amounts are shown in the same line of the display 1 together with the total amount shown in the lowest line respectively. When the customer orders the next commodity, the operator repeats the same operation as the input of the first commodity information. Thus, the number of display lines of the display 1 is increased and the total amount shown in the lowest line is updated. |
