PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the easy demolding work and manufacturing of a molded article by a method wherein a thin expected part of breakage is provided along the outer periphery of a product part of a skin and a positioning recessed part so as to move the split mold of a skin positioning part outwards a bottom mold under the state that a molded article is left on the bottom mold at demolding in order to realize the separation through breakage at a tin part for breakage. SOLUTION: An undercut part 17 is formed in a bottom mold cavity by placing a split mold 15 on a bottom mold main body 12 so as to arrange a skin 31 on the molding surface 13 of the bottom mold main body 12 and the molding surface 16 of the split mold 15 under the state that the inner surface of the skin is directed to a top mold 21. A positioning recessed part 35 and a thin part for breakage 36 are formed on the skin 31 at an excess part 33, which expands to the outer periphery outside a side surface 31a nearly bent in L-shape inwards the skin 31 in conformity with the undercut part 17 of the bottom mold cavity 14 at the edge of a product part 32. By forming a foam 43 between the skin 31 and a base material 41, an integral molded article 44 is produced. Then, an upper mold is separated. Under the state that the molded article 44 is left on a bottom mold, split mold 15 is moved to the outward direction B of the bottom mold 11 so as to annul the undercut part 17 in order to demold and trim the molded article 44. Thus, the easy demolding and molding of the molded article can be realized. |
