Producing a frozen product in the shape of a sausage or discs for packing in individual serving containers, where the product contains pieces of fondant cream, sweet paste or chocolate randomly positioned within a sheath or gel, comprises: (a) mixing the ice cream, delivered to the back (2) and gel, delivered to the sides (3) through smaller diameter tubes, in a cylindrical mixing chamber; (b) adding pieces of other products into the top (13), where the products are mixed by rotation of the upper part (4) of the chamber followed by directing downwards out of the chamber deflectors, and (c) slicing the product into portions or discs as it leaves the apparatus. |
