The improvements of the present invention, which are intended to provide secure and effective fastening between both sections 15, 20 of the steering wheel for the actuation of a control module 1 via which the lights and the horn of the vehicle come into operation, have provided for the arrangement of pairs of "U"-shaped components 16, 16' in a section of the steering wheel, with upper edges forming retention tongues, with central cylindrical elevations for retaining the end of a spring 18, 18' and an intermediate projection 19 which acts as connection terminal, and the arrangement of prismatic components 21, 21' in another section with housings for retaining the aforesaid tongues and an elevation 23-23' for retaining the other end of each spring 18, 18' and with an intermediate terminal projection 24 which complements the aforesaid terminal 19. <IMAGE>
