The method comprises joining the two elements of plastic material with the interposition of a liquid which dissolves said plastic material, in the joining zone, the two elements being made to coincide with a certain pressure in said joining zone and a high-frequency mechanical vibration being applied simultaneously with the action of the solvent. The article comprises a polyamide monofilament inserted via one end in an orifice of a polyamide head with a diameter greater than that of the monofilament. The article obtained is intended for vascular surgery, making it possible to obtain a high degree of resistance to pulling (tension).
