The beams are replaced by four bearer bodies and a support surface (10) at the point where they cross one another. The support surface upper plane conicides with the lower flange upper surface on both beams. Between each beam part (7a,7b,8a,8b) and the support surface a bearer body is pivotably mounted, whose bearer surface (12) lies in the same plane as the support surface upper part. The support surface and the beams form a rigid unit at the crossing point. The bearer bodies are suspended in pairs on concentric shafts (16,18), which are rigidly connected with the beams and support surface at the crossing point. The bearer bodies are also freely movable and pivot in their bearing surfaces (12) horizontally under the effect of gravity. They are also located on ball bearings. A carriage on a beam thrusts two bearer bodies downwards when it passes the crossing point, the bearer bodies returning to their original position after the carriage has passed. |
