PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent air mixed with the developer from being returned to air feeding means, and making an image in excellent quality obtainable by separating specific components from gaseous mixture of the air and the developer, at the time of feeding the air to screw pump means. SOLUTION: In this image forming device, residual toner stuck on the image carrier 1, scraped off by a cleaning blade 14a, is transferred from the toner discharging section to a guide member 15. The developer (D) of the recovered toner transferred from the guide member 15 is fed into an elastic tube 5a of developer transferring means 5 by screw pump means 3. The air feeding means 4, feed the air capable of fluidizing the developer (D) moved by the screw pump means 3, from a discharging hole 4a to the screw pump through the air feeding tube 4b, by a separating section 6a provided in midway of the elastic tube 5a of the developer transferring means 5, the air from the gaseous mixture transferring in the elastic tube 5a1 is absorbed from an absorbing port 4c connected with the elastic tube 5a2 into the air feeding means 4. |
