PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an output level per signal stable and to improve a power efficiency when the number of signals is decreased in the booster repeater that amplifies and relays a reception signal on which plural radio frequency signals whose frequencies differ from each other are multiplexed. SOLUTION: A reception signal from a reception antenna is branched by a branching section 1, frequency conversion sections 2a-2h convert each distributed signal into a signal with an intermediate frequency lower than the original frequency by means of output signals from local oscillators 6a-6h, the frequency band is limited by band pass filters 3a-3h, the frequency is restored to the original radio frequency signal at frequency conversion sections 4a-4h, levels of each signal are uniformized by amplitude limiters 5a-5h and the result is synthesized by a synthesis section 8, the result is amplified by a common amplifier 9 and the amplified signal is outputted to a transmission antenna. On the other hand, output signals from the amplitude limiters 5a-5h are monitored for the levels at a signal number detector 10 to detect number of the signals, and a saturation power control section 11 controls saturated power of the common amplifier 9 based on the detection signal. |
