PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ease a burden in terms of an electric current capacity. SOLUTION: A rectifying circuit 4 to rectify a voltage of an alternate current power supply 1 is provided. Chopper circuits 5-11 connected between direct current output terminals of the rectifying circuit 4 are provided. Inverter circuits 12.13.17 connected to output terminals of the chopper circuits 5-11 are provided. Discharge lamp lighting circuits 14-16 fed from the inverter circuits 12.13.17 are provided. A limiting circuit 1 to limit power consumption of the discharge lamp lighting circuits 14-16 when the voltage of the alternate current power supply 1 is detected and it drops is provided. |
