PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the system to automatically stop dialing by a portable telephone terminal, when it is resident in a radio communication inhibit area by detecting it that the portable telephone terminal enters the radio communication inhibited area and turning off automatically power supply to a transmission section of the portable telephone terminal through the use of a pseudo-control channel. SOLUTION: A control section 37 of an HP 31 monitors an on/off state of a SW of a switch section 36 at all times to store the state to a storage section 38. When the SW is closed manually and the HP 31 enters a radio communication inhibit area and passes a transmission area of a frequency f1 to a frequency f2 in this order, a reception section 34 informs the reception in the order of a f1 pseudo-control channel signal to a f2 pseudo control channel signal to the control section 37, the control section 37 recognizes the closed state of the SW from the storage section 38 and sends a control signal to the switch section 36, which applies on off control to the SW. Then the SW interrupts power supply to a transmission section 33. When the HP 31 enters the radio communication inhibited area, while manually opening the SW, the control section 37 recognizes the power off state, based on the contents stored in the storage section 38 and controls the SW so that the power off state continues.
