PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable service suitable for a user by providing a user information unification managing means which collectively manages user registration information and user state information which are sent from a user's side. SOLUTION: When a user starts a certain software product just after he purchases a computer, user registration information is sent from a user registering/referring means 2 to a user information unification managing means 1 for new registration, and user registration is performed. The registration information content is referred to by a provider side with a provider registering/ referring means 3. After that, when a user information monitor decides that the start number of the software product reaches the number that is preliminarily defined by the provider, the start number is sent as use state information from the means 2 to the means 1, and the means 1 sends the latest information about a software product which is preliminarily registered by the means 3 to the means 2. With this, a user side acquires the latest information about the software product without performing any special processing. |
