PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block intrusion of defrosted water from an upper outdoor unit to a lower indoor unit by stacking the outdoor units in multistage and coupling the side faces of a plurality of stacked outdoor units each other through a coupling member. SOLUTION: The outdoor unit 10 of a multi-type air conditioner comprises outdoor units 11, 12 stacked vertically and provided with a member 20 for coupling them. The coupling member 20 has fixing plates 21, 22 touching the opposite side faces of each outdoor unit 11, 12. A fixing drain port 21c and a drain guide 21d are provided in the body 21a of the fixing plate 21 along with drain guides 21e, 21f for guiding drain water downward from the drain guide 21d. On the other hand, the fixing plate 22 is provided with a planar body fixed with a wiring cover for closing a coupling opening arranged with a terminal, and the like, for interconnecting the outdoor units 11, 12 with external wiring, and the like. |
