PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To report a synchronization state to a state controller by detecting synchronization/asynchronization between active and standby states in the synchronization by a hyper frame period in a highway interface with a signal device in a packet transmission reception card of a packet base station modem. SOLUTION: The inside of a signal processing unit 3353 is provided with a data storage area 3354 that stores data for communication with a highway interface card and a state controller 3351 and with a state report area 3352 as an information notice interface to the state controller. The signal processing unit detects the synchronization/asynchronization based on a hyper frame period in 3 stages by a super-frame number, a sub-frame number and a super-frame number on incoming and outgoing highways stored in a data storage area, and the detection result classifying the synchronization state by state classes is set to a state report area and informed to the state controller. |
