摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a recording medium of ultra high density recording by forming a spacially closed domain structure in a part of recording region and making fluorescent material be contained in a part of the recording region. SOLUTION: A spacially closed domain structure 13 comprising TTPAE molecule of donative coloring matter is arrayed and formed in the form of matrix on SiO2 film 12. In order to execute ultra high density recording >=terabits/cm<2> , the diameter of domain structure 13 is to be around 10 nm and the distance between the neighboring domain structures 13, around 10 nm. The arrangement of the domain structure 13 is formed for example by executing chemical vapor deposition of TTPAE on the film 12. In order to exite fluorescence with an optical fiber probe, laser beam of wave length 457 nm generated from Ar ion laser is introduced. Further, the diameter of the aperture of exit light surface is selected so as not to radiate laser beam on >= two domain structures 13.
