PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operativity, including manufacturing, wherein high precision measurement corresponding to changes in a cant angle is realized with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A first and second filter parts 24a and 24b comprising plural signal extraction templatesτ1,τ2,τ3,τ4,... set according to a cant angle are provided at a post stage of a photo-detector part 20 wherein slit-like first and second photoelectric conversion parts 21a and 21b with three chopping patterns are combined in almost V-shape. Here, the output signal of the first and second photoelectric conversion parts 21a and 21b is signal-processed with the templatesτ1,τ2,τ3,τ4,... of the first and second filter parts 24a and 24b, for extracting such output signal as optimum for the cant angle, and the output signal is signal-processed to detect a star pulse time and star height.
