PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a freezer against damage due to insufficient pressure resistance by interrupting the operation of an air conditioner when units of different design pressure are combined erroneously. SOLUTION: An indoor controller 50 is provided with an indoor memory means 51 storing the design pressure information of an indoor unit. An outdoor controller 40 is provided with an outdoor memory means 41 storing the design pressure information of an outdoor unit. A protective means 42 compares the design pressure of the indoor unit with the design pressure of the outdoor unit and interrupts the operation of an air conditioner if the design pressure of the indoor unit is lower than the design pressure of the outdoor unit. A control means 43 recognizes the design pressures of the indoor and outdoor units and performs operational control depending on the outdoor unit. |
