摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make individual light emitting parts small and arrange them in high density without wide development of an area for forming porous silicon layer, even in the case of increasing the porous silicon layer to secure required light emitting output, because a groove V-shaped in cross section is made on the topside of the porous silicon layer. SOLUTION: This is a light emitting element array consisting of a silicon substrate 1 which has a band-shaped porous silicon layer 1a at the topside, a plurality of transparent electrodes 3 which are made on the topside of the silicon substrate and whose one end extends onto the porous silicon layer 1a, and a common electrode 4 which is made under the surface of the silicon substrate 1. The light emitting array is arranged so that the porous silicon layer 1a positioned between both electrodes 3 and 4 may emit light by applying voltage between each transparent electrode 3 and the porous silicon layer 1a, and here a groove 1b V-shaped in cross section is made at the topside of the porous silicon layer 1a.
