<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve the load of a mail server by sending a reception notice mail that reports storage of a facsimile document to be distributed to a destination terminal of a network address stored in an address conversion table and distributing stored image information to the destination terminal with an HTTP server function. SOLUTION: Distribution of received image information from a network facsimile equipment FX to each user of work stations WS1-WSn is conducted by using HTTP. That is, the network facsimile equipment FX sends an electronic mail for reception notice to report that the image information is received to the user being a distribution destination. The user receiving the reception notice mail starts a WWW browser software of the work stations WS1-WSn that is used by itself to access a URL informed by the reception notice mail to allow the URL to display contents of facsimile image information addressed to itself for the confirmation. Thus, the user confirms contents of the facsimile document addressed to himself.</p> |
