PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the ingress of moisture in the atmosphere into a battery and the external leak of an electrolyte by applying the constitution that the joint of a thermally fused resin film at the outside of the periphery of a secondary battery power generating element is heated and fused for sealing, with the film kept at the side of the power generating element, and an outer electrode lead terminal is enveloped with a laminated film. SOLUTION: Positive electrode plates 11 have an aluminum foil 31 connected and negative electrode plates 12 with a spot welded nickel foil 32 are clamped between the positive electrode plates 11. Separators 13 are, for example, porous polyethylene films, polypropylene films or the like formed as bag type. Bagging in this case is made by clamping the positive electrode plates 11 with the separators and the four corners thereof are thermally fused. In addition, an electrolyte layer 25 is formed between the negative electrode plates 12. The aluminum foil 31 as a positive electrode lead, and the nickel foil 32 as a negative electrode metallic lead are thermally fused to a secondary battery power generating element via a laminated film. |
