PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesiveness between a carrier material and a relief layer and to shorten an exposure time required in the case of manufacturing a printing plate body from a printing plate by using an interlayer containing a specified arylglycidyl ether (meth)acrylate in a polymerized state. SOLUTION: This photosensitive and photopolymerizable printing plate suitable for manufacturing a printing plate body is deposited on a dimensional stability carrier with at least one layer of an interlayer and is deposited on this layer with a photosensitive relief-forming layer composed essentially of a mixture of a polymer binder, at least one kind of photopolymerizable ethylenic unsaturated compound, a photopolymerization initiator and a thermopolymerization inhibitor. Then, at least one layer of the interlayer contains the compound in a polymerized state represented by the formula in which R<1> is an H atom or a 1-10C alkyl group or the like, R<2> is an H atom or a methyl group, X is -C2 H4 -, -(CH2 -CH2 -O)n -C2 H4 or the like and (n) is an integer of 1-8. |
