PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an intermediate transfer body and an image carrier from revoluting irregularly and to facilitate a replacement operation in an image forming device using the intermediate body. SOLUTION: An intermediate transfer-body unit 5 is drawn out almost horizontally toward the front of the main body of the device by a drawing unit 17 on which the intermediate transfer body unit 5 is attached so as to be freely detachable and, likewise, an image carrier 1 is also drawn out almost horizontally toward the front of the main body of the device by a drawing movable body. In this way, the intermediate transfer body unit 5 and the image carrier 1 are prevented from revolving irregularly, and the replacement, maintenance and jam removal are facilitated.
