Absorbent Article such as an Adult incontinence article, or a baby diaper especially designed for receiving bodily discharges such as urine or faecal discharges, having a dual fixation system. Therein, a primary mechanical fixation means can be of the adhesive tape type, or be a hook/loop system to combine the initially separated front and rear waist regions of an absorbent article, or can be an elasticised belt system being unitary with the absorbent member, such as in articles of the pant style, or can be an external fixation means such as wearers underwear, or a specially designed fixation pant such as a stretch pant. The secondary fixation means is of the body adhesive type, thereby removably attaching selected regions of the absorbent article to the body of the wearer. |
