PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying machine where a document image write-in position for paper at the time of an ADF(automatic document feeder) mode is switched and used in accordance with a purpose. SOLUTION: When the regular size display key of an operation part is depressed at the time of setting a picture area, a device is set to a usual mode where picture-formation for the picture area equal to a paper size is executed; and when an irregular size display key is depressed, the picture-formation is executed by the paper size that is larger than a specified paper size by one size. A picture forming range expanded to the paper size is inputted by ten keys after selecting the direction of main scanning or subscanning by depressing a numeric value input display key. When the picture formation is executed at the picture area of a regular size as in a conventional manner in the case of using the paper of an irregular size, the picture is not formed at the area other than the range of the regular size. In this case, it is prevented by inputting the numeric value of the paper size larger by one size or a range. |
