PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow the driver to concentrate his attention to driving by transmitting a message that denotes tentative holding of a speech to clues in a cabin and a speech destination, when the driver estimates it that the driver itself has to concentrate its attention onto driving, based on received navigation data and a vehicle velocity by a vehicle velocity sensor. SOLUTION: In the case that a discrimination section 24c discriminates it that a speech-holding condition is set, a main control section 24e controls a selection section 24g to allow a message transmission means 23 to select message data, in response to a driving state of a driver. Then after the control section 24e sends a message denoting it that the driver cannot let go of the steering wheel and holds once the speech to the destination and the driver itself, the control section 24e controls a code signal output section 24f to bring the portable telephone set to a speech-holding state. The main control section 24e has a function that holds the speech and simultaneously starts counting a timer 24d and transits the holding speech to the end of speech, in response to the elapsed time. |
