<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time setting system to set time owned by each network element (NE) constituting an SDH(synchronous digital hierarchy) transmission network with high precision. SOLUTION: The time of its own NE is transmitted to an adjacent NE by using a specified area predetermined by an RSOH(regenerator section overhead). In addition, the time of other NE obtained from the specified area predetermined by the RSOH to be determined is monitored by the own NE and when an error occurs between the other NE and the own NE, the time of the own NE is corrected. Plural pieces of time information is obtained by each NE, however, what time information is to be referred to correct the time is previously determined based on a master clock 10 to be a master 1.</p> |
