摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and certaily connect a side gear and a drive shaft together without damaging an oil seal by furnishing a connecting means to connect the side gear and the drive shaft with each other in a state where the drive shaft is inserted into the side gear and a temperature end part of the drive shaft is brought into contact with a rotary shaft of a pinion. SOLUTION: When an operating rod 8 is put in a state to be projected from a terminal end of a drive shaft 56 and a shaft end of this drive shaft 56 is inserted into a side gear of a differential gear, gradually the operating rod 8 is made contact with a rotary shaft 52. When the operating rod 8 is made contact with the rotary shaft 52, the operating rod 8 is sunk in a press fitting hole 1 against a spring 12 in the press fitting hole 1, as the operating rod 8 is stored in the press fitting hole 1, a plural number of locking members 3 are moved in the radial direction on a tapered part 7 on the other end side of the operating rod 8, and the operating rod 8 is projected to the outside from a peripheral surface of the drive shaft 56. Thereafter, when the operating rod 8 is put in a state to be completely stored in the press fitting hole 1, the locking members 3 are locked to an insertion groove of the side gear.
