PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover toner removed from the surface of a photoreceptor into a waste-toner storage part by a simple structure even in the case gravity cannot be used for carrying the waste toner. SOLUTION: In this cleaner which removes residual toner on the surface of the photoreceptor 8 by a cleaning blade 10 and recovers the removed toner into the waste-toner storage part 13 by a waste-toner carrying means, a waste- toner scrape-out member, as the waste-toner carrying means, which rotates is provided near the cleaning blade 10, and a platelike carrying member 15 is also provided for carrying the toner toward the waste-toner storage part 13 while reciprocating in response to the rotation of the waste-toner scrape-out member. |
