COLOR SOLID CROSSING PLANE AREA INTRODUCTION METHOD AND MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER PROGRAM TO EXECUTE ITS PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a circumferential ridge line of a crossing plane area of any color plane with respect to a color solid even when the color plane is placed at any position or in any direction. SOLUTION: Pluralities of representative color points in existence on a surface of a color solid are prepared in the representative color point preparation processing (520). Pluralities of border line segments tying the representative color points are sent in the border line segment setting processing (S22), and pluralities of unit planes surrounded by the border line segments are set in the unit plane setting processing (S24). A color plane to be in crossing with the color solid is set in the color plane setting processing (S26). A border line segment in crossing with the color plane is obtained sequentially among the pluralities of border line segments in the cross plane area introduction processing to obtain the cross point between the crossing border line segments and the color plane. A unit plane in crossing with the color plane is selected based on the crossing border line segment and the crossing line between the selected unit plane and the color plane is obtained by tying the obtained cross points. The circumferential ridge line of the crossing plane area resulting from the crossing between the color solid and the color plane is introduced by connecting the crossing lines (S28).
