PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record a matter of business of a subscriber of the called party as a message by connecting an automatic answering telephone set to a voice storage device when the telephone set moves out of a radio area in a busy state or the battery of the telephone set is exhausted. SOLUTION: In this automatic answering telephone transfer system, an opposite party subscriber A is transferred to a voice storage device 2 via an exchange station 1 when a connected subscriber B is cut by an unexpected factor. Under such conditions, the station 1 can check the cut-off signal sent from the subscriber B via a cut-off signal check means. An automatic answering telephone service check means 5 checks whether the subscriber A enjoys the automatic answering telephone service. A voice storage device transfer means 6 transfers the subscriber A to the device 2 based on the check results of the cut-off signal check means and the means 5. Then the cut-off signal check means serves as a call cut reason display value analysis means 4 which analyzes the call cut reason display value of the cut-off signal.
