The invention concerns a method for producing a sealing ring which employs a washer which is transformed in several forming processes into an annular washer with a profiled cross section. During shaping, the peripheral area is given greater wall thickness, both to avoid a sharp edge which could lead to injuries and to provide the necessary rigidity for applying the twist-off lid. |
